Formula 4 race winner Matty Graham is the latest driver to announce his participation in the 2013 Formula 4 Winter Championship. Joining Douglas Motorsport, the Durham driver is targeting race wins and the championship title to end his 2013 campaign on a high.

The 2011 FIA Under 18 Karting World Champion has had a strong debut season in single seaters, taking two race wins at Brands Hatch and Silverstone. That added with several top three visits to the podium throughout the season rewarded him with fourth in the inaugural BRDC Formula 4 Championship. Now a proven winner in this Formula, Matty certainly hopes his transition to Douglas Motorsport will reward him with more wins and a shot at winning the Winter Championship title.

Douglas Motorsport’s Wayne Douglas is delighted to welcome Matty back to the team, “It’s great to see Matty back under the Douglas banner. He completed an extensive driver development programme with us ahead of his Formula 4 campaign and his two race wins are testament to the value of that time with ourselves. I’m very confident that we can hit the ground running in Snetterton and challenge for the Winter Championship title.”

Matty Graham went on to add that he too is glad to be working with Douglas Motorsport, “It’s good to be back with Douglas Motorsport for this Winter Championship. I made my transition into cars with them so its nice to be back to do some races and I’m really hoping we can challenge for the title.”
